Some Members of the Adansi FOMENA NPP fraternity repaints party office to NDC colors and declares support for John Mahama as a result of the postponed party internal elections in the Constituency.

In an interview with a leading members of the group, he said, the party national executives specifically John Boadu has refused to explain to them their reasons for boycotting the internal elections in the constituency after the two weeks ultimatum the gave to them.
Meanwhile they believe their national executives want to impose on them the second deputy speaker of parliament, Hon. Andrew Asiamah on them ahead of the 2024 elections by any means which is the reason Fomena constituency were not allowed to engage in the parties internal elections. As a results they have declared their support for their political rival and opposition NDC party.
“But what we are trying to do today is just highlighting for everybody to see that whatever we told them two weeks ago, even we told them we give them one week but we gave extra one week may be they were not prepared so we gave them another one week making two weeks and we haven’t heard any reasonable and sensible thing from our general secretary. That is why I always term them as politically illiterate, you have this kind of people and you want to disperse them.
The aggrieved supporters again threatened to defect to support the NDC to win the 2024 elections because the NPP has failed them as their national executive are not responding to their call for explanation on the suspended internal elections.
“I will go to NDC I will do full campaign for NDC, my entire family I will do the campaign, severe campaign for the NDC party because the NPP had done nothing to me. I have suffered a lot.” Interview with some other members of the party.
This happened in a demonstration staged by the supporters of the Fomena NPP party to express their grievances to their national executives. The continued by placing curses on their party national executives in a video sited on joynewsprime, YouTube.
